Today I want to talk about "a monster calls" The idea about the book was made by Siobhan Dowd who died from cancer. 😢 Then a year or so after she died they got a new person to carry on her book. That guys name was Patrick Ness. It has so many illustrations too but the books with illustrations are rare now. Im lucky to get to read one with the illustrations. The guy who made the illustrations made the picutures using not paints but, nature. Fun, right? The man character is Conor a boy whos mom is slowly dying from cancer. See the connection Siobhan and Conors mom... Huh, huh. Nudge* nudge* The book will make you cry, laugh, and probably cringe who knows. If you tenderhearted dont read the book. Now as we all know I love to talk about animals, but, they are not just for fun and games!!!They need a lot of different things to be healthy and happy and that's what we need to talk about today. Now we have all heard this same speech from our parents before but, I think we just get so caught up in getting the pet that we really don't think of the responsibility, then our parents end up doing the work... Now I'm not saying this happens to everyone some people do really prepare for it and research it so I encourage you to prove your parents wrong !!! Did you guys read "A Dogs Purpose" don't you just wanna help all of the little doggies in the world now !!! I know I do, you cant help all of them but you can help some of them... Thats why this summer you should volunteer at the BLUE SKY ANIMAL SHELTER !!! Dont worry even kids can help out , I mean ... I DO !!! HOW??? CAN KIDS HELP !! You may wonder the answer is simple just by loving them and playing with them. Trust me it makes their day!! btw say hi to a yorkie named charlie while ur there well....
